Foodpanda, the on demand online food delivery service platform in South East Asia will expand its services in Davao City starting May 2018. Launched in 2014 in the Philippines, this widely-utilized food delivery service has over 400,000 active users in the country. They’re operating in Manila and Cebu and will expand their services in the city this May.
Gone are the days where customers need to memorize delivery numbers of restaurants. With foodpanda, everyone has access to having your favourite food delivered right into your doorstep via the app.
“We are very excited to add Davao to the list of cities that we provide our delivery service to. Davao is a city with great potential for food delivery, especially with its very colourful and tasty food culture. As always, we intend to bring out the best experience in food delivery to our customers – we look forward to see eager and encouraging feedback from current and potential partner restaurants and customers,” says foodpanda CEO Lacopo Rovere.
Foodpanda has partnered with over 40 restaurants in the city in its initial list when they operate fully this May. When launch, the app will pick up partner restaurants within the 3-kilometer radius of your location. With just Php59.00 standard delivery fee and no minimum amount of food order as long as it fits the standard insulated bag, anyone can now have a fill of their food cravings, hot and fresh right out of the oven. Foodpanda’s delivery time will coincide with the partner restaurant’s operation time.
