BE-ING SUITES DAVAO: JAPANESE HOSPITALITY IN DAVAO CITY

Be-ing Suites Davao’s homey, eco-friendly, comfortable and well-ventilated atmosphere is just what every weary traveler need for a restful stay.

Nestled in a quiet community in the northern side of Davao City is a little known traveller’s haven named Be-ing Suites Davao.

In 2014, Hideki Ota who owns Hair Corporation, a salon and spa chain in Saga Japan came to Davao to look for Davaoenos he can coach and educate about Japanese Hair styling techniques and that eventually he can employ then with his growing salon business in Japan.

This Japanese-inspired hotel was supposed to be an academy which will facilitate partnership and culture exchange of the art of Japanese hair styling techniques and methods among Japanese and Filipino stylists.

But along the course of the construction of the building, Mr. Ota saw its economic potential; they then decided to open its doors to business travellers and tourists.

Today, Be-ing Suites Davao has 16 well-kept Japanese-inspired rooms in standard and deluxe. Japanese way of hospitality can be felt around especially among their smiling and very accommodating staff.
