Shortly after our courtesy call with Lake Sebu's good Mayor, Antonio Fungan we started our tour and our first stop - Mountain Lake Eco Resort. Located in Brgy. Bacdulong, this reserved by nature lake shore resort is a 15-minute drive out of the town center.
Nestled in a secluded cove at the western side of the lake, Mountain Lake Eco Resort provides a serene, graceful and tranquil vista of the languid and mystic Lake Sebu. The lake is so breathtaking from this point I could only say, wow!
We were greeted by these pretty T'boli ladies, so charming in their traditional dress, at their spacious and warm reception area.
We're late for lunch and we're having it on board their famous cruise. We then descended to the lakeside dock to board their clean, nicely dressed hall and I think, safe ferry.
Lake cruising is one of the things you should do while in Lake Sebu and Mountain Lake Eco Resort will let you experience that. While on board, you'll be treated to a sumptuous buffet for only P200/head. If you can manage to request to include Tinolang Manok in the menu, do so. I guarantee you the best view with the best meal of your time in Lake Sebu. The ferry we boarded can accommodate a maximum of 40 persons.
And to complete your lake cruise experience, cultural performers are also invited on board to get you engaged with T'boli's culture while mulling over a splendid lake scenery.
This is Y'egas, one of the seasoned and gifted
T'boli women performers who have traveled the world
sharing T'boli's
culture and art.

The cruise took about 45 minutes, not enough actually to round the islets and lagoons of the 354-hectare lake.
